The aim of North East Fireflies:
North East Fireflies was set up in 2026 to offer a more flexible and pro-active approach to Speech and Language Therapy Support.
Supporting Children and Families: Parent's and carers often want different things from a Speech and Language Therapist. Some may want a therapist to work directly and more intensely with their child and some may want strategies or training and the ability to just touch base. This often reflects a families other demands and sometimes Speech Therapy is not seen as an affordable option.
North East Fireflies has been set up to provide scientifically evidence based support to children but with flexibility built in from day one.
Supporting local businesses and settings: In development with training and consultancy packages available from November 2026.
The Fireflies Clinic and Training Space

About me

My name is Jennifer Hall and I am a Speech and Language Therapist. I am both HCPC and RCSLT registered. I have worked with children with a broad range of speech, language and communication difficulties and differences for 7 years in the NHS. I have a passion for working with children and their families and school staff to support them to get their message accross.
I have experience in both face to face and virtual therapy and training.
I have a very clear set of core beliefs in my practice:
- Parents should feel confident in supporting their children.
- Support should be scientifically proven to work.
- Therapy sessions should be fun!
